What a great Christmas gift for anyone looking for a unique item! This is a rare 10 pound store scale that has been consigned to me for sale. This item was from a store in Tunkhannock Pa. the exact store or location is not known but the owner who passed away was from t and this was supposed to be a family piece.The scale measure 18x8x17 and is completely original. The marble is in excellent condition as is the brass tray. T are some rubs on the plating and on the large adjustable wheel but it seems all free and in good working order. This is a real beauty and for comparative purposes please refer to a similar item on ebay that does not have the original marble and has been re-plated (ebay item number 250038654551 listed at $700). Some provenance available to the buyer. This item is heavy and will be about 35-40 pounds for shipping purposes and will be crated. T is an additional $5.00 packing charge plus buyer to pay actual shipping cost and 6% sales tax if Pa. resident. More pictures or information gladly supplied. This item has a 499 reserve to protect the consignor. I contacted Ebay about the problem of the reserve and of course, their response was as expected. Namely, since I had not paid for the reserve and it was not submitted, my only recourse is to cancel and relist. I am letting this auction run and will honor the top bid.
