I am offering some nice items this week, from brand new fixed blade and folding knives to new (but old) folders and an old German (I think) Bowie style knife. I have done my best to list or show in my pictures any problems or defects, and to describe them accurately. If anyone has knowledge about a particular knife, please feel free to contact me, and I will try to revise my description or add the information. Take a moment to check out the other auctions. Thanks for looking, and good luck with your bidding!

This is a nice older knife manufactured in the U.S.A. by Colonial Knife Company of Providence, Rhode Island. It is a traditional melon tester design, often called a fruit knife, citrus knife or even a sausage knife. It is a simple knife, with a stainless steel blade and back spring, brass liners, and black plastic handles that are marked on one side with the Dole trademark containing the words "Dole Bananas" inside, and "Dole Bananas" in large red letters right next to that. The tang is stamped on three lines: " STAINLESS /Colonial/Prov. U.S.A." This one is brand new, never used, with original factory edge. There are a few faint scratches in the handles from storage, and a tiny little scuff at the very end on the marked handle. Closed length: 4-11/16". Blade length 3-3/4". Open length 8-7/16". International bidders: PLEASE READ! By placing a bid on any of my items, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. I am not responsible for an item once I put it in the mail. Paypal requires tracking in order to honor the terms of their protection policies. Items shipped by First Class cannot be insured. It can be Registered, which will allow tracking, along with a Return Receipt which shows delivery. The cost for these two services adds $16.45 ($12.95 for Registered, $3.50 for Return Receipt). Priority Mail can be insured but not Registered. If sent without insurance, only $64.66 can be recovered. Insurance can be purchased up to $5000. A Return Receipt can be added to this for the same $3.50 fee. Express Mail includes a tracking number from me to you, and includes insurance up to $100. You can also purchase more insurance for items valued over $100. If you choose not to have it shipped by Express Mail, you agree that you will be held solely responsible if your package does not arrive for any reason, or is damaged in transit by actions of the postal service. Packages can be held up at Customs, or confiscated, lost or stolen. I will send an invoice at the end of the auction with the shipping cost, and advise you of the additional services. If you only pay the listed price, and choose not to contact me and agree to those tracking services, I assume no liability whatsoever once I put the package in the mail. If you desire the additional security, let me know and I will send a new invoice. Some international bidders have complained of slow delivery, which I cannot help. Please contact your postal service. Thank you for your understanding.
