MINIATURES BY LYNN OF "MINIATURES PERFECTLY SMALL” THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE SEWING BOX WITH PIN CUSHION ONLY. ALL THE SEWING ITEMS INSIDE THE BOX ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE . This beautiful little 1:12th scale Victorian style sewing box is by far the nicest miniature I have ever made, it is just exquisite. I have used two contrasting woods, African Yellow wood and imbuia they work beautifully together. The Imbuia (the dark wood) has the most beautiful markings in the grain. It looks very much like tortoiseshell. I have turned the column on my lathe, there are four little feet on the bottom. There is a pin cushion added under the lid.
