Hysteria Chair Up for auction is one of our NEW Hysteria chair...The chair has been handcrafted and features a working "hood" to hide the Patient's head in...The chair also features working leather restraints and metal restraints for the ankles...the chair comes with a metal bucket which is removable. Hysteria chairs or quiet chairs were used in the 1920's for hysterical and temperamental patients...the box with the black curtain would be placed over the patients head and the person would then be strapped into the chair...the bucket underneath...well I am sure you can guess what that was for...... All of our items are 1/12th scale Thanks for looking!!
