I am not the original owner of this doll. She looks very similar to American Girl Doll Kit Kittredge and as I started to take pictures I thought she make be a fake?? Which is why I am listing this as a doll similar or a look-alike to an AG doll and I will let you be the judge of whether or not she is the real deal. (again, I'm thinking not - but if you have a daughter that just has to have an AG here is a good look alike) Do note that I was fooled into thinking it was real a number of years ago and my girls never knew the difference.Additionally each of her feet have burns or have been sanded down - not sure what happened. She still is able to stand on her own and obviously if you have socks or shoes on her you don't see any marks. And there is a small water stain on her body around her right arm Other than the feet and small body stain this doll is in good condition - tried to take as many close ups as possible. Reasons I don't think she is real:1. freckles don't seem to match the pictures of Kit Kittredge Dolls I've seen2. The inside of the limbs on the other AG dolls we own (and bought personally) have a small star stamped at joint - this one has numbers stamped on the inside joints3.
