Doll Toy Steam Engine: Air Pump Engine w/Windmill. Made in 1922/25 in Nurnberg Germany by Doll Company. Metal base is painted Green with paint missing. You pull out the handle and hand pump air pressure into the green cylinder that looks like a boiler. Then the air pressure powers an oscillating cylinder/piston that turns a flywheel that is then connected with a spring band to the pulley on the windmill. I did get it to work, but the plunger gasket needs replacement I think to improve it function. The base is 3.25”X 9.75” X 6.37” tall to the windmill blade. The green air tank is 1.7” in diameter. The flywheel is 2.0” in diameter and the windmill pulley is 1.5” in diameter. Overall it is sold in “As Is” condition – view all pictures and ask questions. This engine is as I found it. This engine is in the Blechspielzeug Dampfspielzeug German book (pic #143 for a Water fountain version instead of the windmill I have) by von Wolf Kaiser und Carlernst J. Baecker. See my other Doll Engines for sale on eBay. U.S. buyers (except Alaska & Hawaii) pay $16 for Postage with Insurance – This is a large and heavy engine. Overseas buyers to I will refund any shipping cost over the actual cost thru Paypal. See my other Steam Engines for Auction as I will have about 150 to sell during the year.
