This large hand made dolls mansion was bought from an antique shop, over ten years ago though we do not believe it be an antique. We have limited information other than it was built specially for a museum. We paid £500 for the house. The mansion has a unique bronze coloured dome on the roof with 6 glazed windows. The detail of the fixtures and fittings is incredible. It even has mirrors and paintings on the walls and a coat of arms on the outside. All furniture is in keeping with the era of the building and is included. The servants quarters have call bells on the wall and the kitchen is fully fitted with range, fire place etc. There is a spinning wheel a butter churn and a milk urn. All pots, pans, crockery, rolling pins etc are included. The upper stories contain appropriate furniture and even have soft furnishings such as bed covers. The master bedroom has on en-suite bathroom with bath, toilet and hand basin behind a screen. The secondary bedroom has a hand basin. The drawing room has a writing desk, occasional table, a chase lounge and a globe. The dinning room has a fully set dinning table. Ornaments, statues and a bust on plinth are included.
