Dolly Dell Toy Clothes Iron Pretend Play Collectible
Dolly Dell Toy Clothes Iron Pretend Play Collectible
Sold For:
I found this cute little Dolly Dell child's toy clothes iron in a box of toys that I purchased at an estate sale last week. This toy iron is a working model, complete with an electric cord. From the looks and style of the cord I would say it would date back to the 1940's or 50's. I plugged it in to see if it works and it did warm up a bit. On the bottom of the iron it states that it is 120 V with 4.5 watts of power, which is fairly low wattage. Since it is a childs toy, I don't believe that it would get hot enough to hurt anybody, but for any parent who may wish to buy this working child's model clothes iron I would be very careful about letting a child play with it unsupervised. For the savvy collector of vintage children's toys, this may be a great sleeper for your collection. If you should have any questions please feel free to send an e-mail. Bidders outside of the U.S.A. please ask for shipping cost to your area.View Similar Items
