This is a round maroon pyro half pint milk bottle with a 48mm plug cap finish with lugs. The milk bottle was manufactured by the Lamb Glass Company of Mt. Vernon, Ohio (my maker information source is Glass Milk Bottles: Their Makers And Marks (1980) by Jeffrey L. Giarde).The milk bottle is labeled on both sides the same way in maroon or dark red pyro as follows:(silhouette of woman's profile in oval outline)Dolly MadisonQualityChekdGRADE "A" MILK"Quality Chekd" was a marketing association which various dairies in the USA could belong to. I don't know the details of the program but this kind of program could give a local or regional dairy the stature of a national organization together with its reputation and advertising. The white inside the milk bottle is Styrofoam beads which enhance display but could be removed by winning bidder without damage to the bottle. The Styrofoam was in the bottle when I acquired it and has not been removed. The milk bottle appears to be in good condition with no chips or cracks and only very light case/use wear.
