DOLLY PARTON - GREATEST HITSfirst press RCA compact disc made in Japan by Nippon Columbia (Denon)printed in Japan , bar code on back with original smooth-edge jewel case pressed in 1983matrix numbers: PCD14422 // A11 (crude font)This is one of the first 35 titles ever released by RCA in the cd format, from their very first batch in 1983 (it still has the crude matrix font which disappeared very soon afterward). This original 12-track version was replaced in 1989 with a 9 track version, which has remained the only available issue ever since. And this is a true first press, one of the earliest cds ever made! CONDITION (artwork / disc) : VG / EX The booklet has a significant holder tab impression on the rear top left, as well as light handling wear, but is still presentable. The inlay is pristine.The disc is super clean, with only a few surface scuffs and hairlines. It honestly couldn't be much nicer, and performs perfectly throughout.Every disc is strictly graded using the EX-modified Goldmine LP Standard: M / NM / EX / VG+ / VG / VG- / G .
