This 1926 limited first edition of Domestic Needlework Its Origins And Customs Throughout The Centuries by G seligman and Talbot Hughes is offered in good condition.The red cover with its gilt lettering has a few marks,rubbing and bumped rubbed corners.The spine has a small split to the hinge and fraying to the head and base.The binding is in good order with all pages present and bound.Inside the pages have yellowed and there is light tanning to the prelims.The book is beautifully illustrated throughout with many black and white and some colour plates.Stated at the front is "The English Edition of this work is strictly limited to 500 numbered copies of ehich this is No PRESENTATION COPY".The book measures approx 28.5cm x 37cm and is very heavy,this makes international export impractical,apologies.
