Offering this wonderful detailed print made from the original charcoal drawing of Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, signed by Don Davey and dated 1977. The details are excellent from the fishing boats, to the seagulls, to the Allotos sign above the harbor restaurant in the background. Print measures 11 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches as viewed, set in double black matting with white edging; protective glass covering, professional frame shop heavy duty constructed black metal frame with wire hanger. On back there is a pocket which holds a brochure about Don Davey; who began his career at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and the warmth and vitality of his drawings have won constant praise and recognition. His illustrations have lent sparkle to such magazines as McCalls, Saturday Evening Post, and Fortune. Condition is very good, no damage to drawing, matting, or frame (except for a couple tiny scuff marks on frame edge). Handsome piece of artwork, perfect for your home or office, sure to only increase in value!
