This is a stunning piece of BLACK CLAY POTTERY signed Dona Rosa Coyotepec, Oaxaca, Mexico. It is 7" high and 6" across with a 2-3/4" center hole. The world renown artist is Dona Rosa Real de Nieto. I was told the piece was from the 1960's.

The beautiful black pottery has a metallic-like glaze that gives it a metal look. The sprays of leaves are cut into the clay. The piece is in very good condition. T is a thin line on the back that seems to be under the glaze. This piece would make a wonderful addition to a pottery collection!
