Donald Duck Triptych Limited-Edition Sericel with Lithograph Background '' Inspired by the 1938 classic Disney animation short ''Donald's Better Self,'' this series of three sericels against a single continuous lithographic background from the Walt Disney Studio Art Collection depicts the irascible Donald Duck puzzling over his more angelic or devilish selves. The lithograph process is used to bring out the true vibrancy of fine art. This printing technique uses a planographic process in which prints are pulled on a special press from a flat stone or metal surface that has been chemically sensitized so that ink sticks only to the design areas and is repelled by the non-image areas.
