This is a cool one, Nintendo's classic "Donkey Kong". This was the subject of the documentary film "The King of Kong" a few years ago; about the fight to be the world record holder for this machine. Here's your chance to own your own machine! Everything works great on this game. It has a rebuilt monitor, so it looks very nice and should be reliable for years to come now. The soundboard was also rebuilt, so it has nice clear sound. The gameboard was tested and checked out extensively, it's in great working condition. The controls all work great. The sideart on this machine is brand new and looks great. The control panel art has a few minor cigarette burns on it like most of these do... now you know it was really in an arcade :) The t-molding on the cabinet is new. The cabinet itself hasn't been repainted, it's the way it left the factory with the blue laminate installed on it. Some of the laminate has chipped here and there, the most noteworthy spot is a couple of the little pieces surrounding the speaker on the front of the game have chipped. It has it's share of cosmetic blemishes here and there, but all in all looks nice as you can see. More importantly; the game is incredibly fun to play.The coin mechs work, the light up top works, and the game can be played for free with the service button inside the coin door.
