Up for auction a precious syrup pitcher in the pussy willow design by potter, Nando Ricci. It is unique that the lid has pussy willows painted in gorgeous detail. It is in great condition. T is a rough glaze patch on the front but it does not detract from its beauty or value. T are no chips or cracks. The pussy willows are painted on one side.

Charles Hill's initials are under the handle. T are the typical finger prints on the bottom of the piece. The pitcher measures 5 inches tall. This vessel has more of a plump or bulbous appearance than other dorchester some other Dorchester syrup pitchers. It measures 12 inches in diameter around the middle of the pitcher.

Signatures include N. Ricci fecit, CAH, Dorchester Stoneware and the original Dorchester circular stamp.

This is a wonderful piece of American art and would be a wonderful addition to your Dorchester and or pottery collection. Please make all inquires before bidding.
