SS Telecaster (60s style) Body - 2-piece Alder in Aged Not Worn 3-Colour Sunb.. 1 x Telecaster body (60s style) body, pictured, in aged not worn 3-Colour Sunburst nitrocellulose finish. This original-spec 2-piece alder body has an SS pickup arrangement. This body is bound with cream binding on top, and is bound with cream on the bottom.42nd Street's replacement bodies are made in the UK from only the best tonewoods, including lightweight American Swamp Ash and Red Alder. Machined accurately and consistently to original spec, they are finished in cellulose and nitrocellulose paints and lacquers. Aging and wear levels range from the aged-not-worn closet clean vintage look, with its slight discolouration of the paint but otherwise largely undamaged finish, to the heavy relic road-worn effects with everything in between. Any relicing and wear is applied in an authentic fashion, with the right effects in the right places - belt buckle scuffs on the back, clean paint under the pigkguard and hardware, and visible undercoats in areas of high wear. All finishes, whether the closet clean or heavily aged, start off as properly applied pristine finish and are then aged appropriately - no shortcuts are taken just because the finish will be aged.
