This vintage old Japan pottery egg cup is hand painted with two yellow birds singing in an open window. The rim is accented with a band of blue to match the shutters and there are deep red and black accents. It stands 3 3/4" high and 2 5/8 across the rim and has the old Japan black mark. It is in fairly good condition except for an old shallow chip on the rim which appears to be glazed over, I am not sure if that is a factory fault or whether someone repaired it.
