For your consideration is a crock made in Red Wing, Minnesota and distributed by Union Stoneware Co. Union Stoneware Co. was a marketing co-op jointly owned by Red Wing Stoneware Co., Minnesota Stoneware Co. and North Star Stoneware Co.; all of Red Wing, Minnesota. This type of glaze and the wording on the oval indicate this crock was manufactured between 1895 and 1906. This crock was manufactured with two (4s) and two sets of the Elephant Ear design; one set is on the front and the other set is on the left side; all markings are in black. The 4s indicate a four gallon capacity. This crock is approximately 11 1/2" tall and the bottom is approximately 11" in diameter. This crock has a chip at the bottom edge and also has a hairline. This hairline is tight and the crock is very stable. All damage is shown. Check out my other listings as I combine shipping when practical, this saves the buyer money.
