Made with all solid pastels, this quilt has the appearance of a rainbow in the mist! It would cheer up any room, although I suspect it will go best for a newly married couple (that's what the pattern meant when this was made!) or a girl's room. The fabrics are in marvelous condition and the quilt has been professionally cleaned. The complex scalloped binding is a testament to the mastery of the quilter! T are a few small stains that did not come out (the picture is representative of this), but with all the brightness of the quilt, they are not really very noticeable. This quilt is 75 years old after all! The pictures don't do the quilt justice - the background is very white and the quilt is quite crisp. The measurements are 72" by 86".
