This is a wonderful double glazed vase with ring handles. The main glaze is a rich golden brown, sort of a bright leaf golden tobacco color, with a green glaze dripped over the top. The throwing rings are easily discernible on the body of the vase. It has the HANDMADE by NORTH STATE POTTERY, SANFORD , NORTH CAROLINA stamp on the base. Size: 5.0” tall x 5.5” wide including handles. It is 3” wide at the open mouth and 3.25” wide on the base. Condition: Almost mint. It has the expected faint age crazing. There are a couple of tiny flakes on the bottom of the vase that are hardly worth mentioning. Otherwise, there are no other flakes, chips, repairs or damage. About the seller: I am not a commercial business. I am simply an individual who is selling from my own personal collection, some pieces having strong sentimental value. My husband and I recently consolidated from two homes to one (the smaller of the two). I don’t have space for everything and have no children or grandchildren to pass down to. I am listing most items at a lower starting price than original purchase price &/or comparable present value. My loss is your gain.
