Offered here is a delicate Doulton Burslem 8-1/2" diameter plate crafted as a commemorative souvenir of the 1897 Diamond Jubilee celebration of Queen Victoria's long reign. This English piece is made of glazed china with the colorful emblem of Victoria on the interior flanked with the banner & her emblem. Gorgeous embossed decorative details as well. The underside of the base is marked as pictured in brown. Condition is excellent! No chips/cracks or repairs & minimal use. There is no crazing or staining noted. There is some gold loss on the outer edges of the plate. Fantastic, seldom seen piece to add to any collection as we welcome the birth of the next generation of English royalty!
