we have a wonderful antique Doulton Lambeth match striker. This handsome piece features great faience type blue and brown coloring, as well as nice pinwheel and leaf decorations. This piece is a bit bigger than it looks in the pictures, measuring 3" tall and almost 4 " wide. Top cavity is 1 3/8" wide and almost 1 1/2" deep. As you can see it has the Doulton Lambeth England mark, as well as the impressed numbers 3372. I looked up the numbers and as far as I can tell this piece was made between 1887-1893 (I could find the exact Doulton mark, so the dating came from just that pattern number). I've included very detailed pictures of the marks just in case. Wonderful piece all together with no breaks chips, or cracks. Please check out my other auctions. Any questions are more than welcome.
