A third subject has been added to the Black Knight collection, this time a StuG III. The model has been painted in an appropriate camouflage scheme just like one that appears in the comic books. This tank destroyer was actually Germany’s most widely manufactured armored fighting vehicle of the war, with the StuG III Ausf.G featuring a powerful 7.5cm StuK 40 L/48 gun. A total of 7,720 vehicles were produced from December 1942 through till April 1945. This model represents a StuG III G belonging to the Black Knight commander fighting on the Eastern Front in the autumn of 1944. The tank destroyer carries the distinctive unit tactical markings of the combat-hardened Black Knight unit.
