Offered here is a very rare Japanese ITO style wooden battery operated toy 'Dragon' boat from the early 1950s. These boats were uniquely made during WWII in Japan. The boat is all original with light bulbs and all other accessories attached to it. All the electrical stuff is in place under the removable top and looks to be perfect, though I did not attempt to test it. The condition is great, but there are a couple chips along the bottom of the boat that are clearly shown in the pictures. Otherwise, the colors are bright and vivid and everything looks wonderful on this unbelievable collectible. The boat measures about 18 1/4" long by 5 1/4" wide x 3 1/4" tall.
