Vintage Japanese porcelain, Dragonware tea set for six, consisting of a tea pot/lid, cream and sugar, six tea cups and saucers - with a Geisha Girl Lithopane at the bottom of each tea cup. This is an Elegant Dragonware Set. All porcelain pieces have matching Moriage decoration, white interiors. Handles, lid knobs and rims of pieces are gold. The luster is very colorful with hues of blue, teal and rose over black and grey. The popular dragon pattern has blue enamel eyes, with excellent slip trailed dragon detailing. Dragonware is a term used for porcelain that has raised decoration of a dragon. The dragons have a 3-D appearance. No damage, chips, crack or repairs, wonderful condition. Complete, un-damaged sets like this are considered RARE. 6 - Tea Cups 2-1/2" in diameter; 2-1/4" Tall 6 - Saucer Plates 4- 3/4" Saucer 1 - Tea Pot with Lid Approximately 7 1/2" Tall (top of finial) 1 - Cream/Milk Pitcher with Lid 3 1/8" Tall 1 - Sugar Bowl with Lid 4 1/4" Tall I try to describe as faithfully as possible and am happy to answer your emails.
