Sexy yet dignified ivory satin evening or wedding dress from the 1930's. Front, back and sleeves are adorned with exquisite matching ivory color lace-very spider web fine and Art Deco gorgeous! The dress is alluringly designed with prominent bias cut design, double high Vs and side Vsmost flattering! The front left shoulder has a matching silk double Gardenia flowers. This fantastic dress closes at side waist with snaps; the back has a form-fitting tie back. The dramatic sleeves are wonderful! When worn the lace has several layers of draping, then the sleeves come to a slim line with snap closure at the wrists. There is matching lace appliqué on the satin portion of the sleeves. Dress is in very good to excellent condition, there is an extremely minimal pin hole on left side above hip (hardly noticeable), and two age related spots, one at the back very bottom of skirt and the other lower bottom right side. I have not tried to remove them, however with so many modern stain removers on the market I am pretty sure it would be easily removed if desired. The back near the centre, on the lace part there are two separations, again easily fixed, otherwise the dress is perfect and looks to have been worn only once or twice. The measurements are: 38" bust, about a 28-30" waist due to the bias fit. Dress is fully wearable! It is a stunning gown that flatters ones figure. Wear it or enjoy it in your vintage clothing collection. Please e-mail us for more images of this fabulous vintage gown. Please be assured all of our items are from a smoke free environment. Thank You & Enjoy your day!
