Wonderful dramatic Victorian circa 1895 Bohemian garnet necklace set with numerous garnets in either low grade garnet gold, base metal or silver gilt (all of which were typically used to set garnets in during the Victorian era) in a repeated star pattern. Clasp is also a star embedded with garnets. Lovely rose cut garnets. Four hanging drops. Lovely design. Great motif. Very beautiful dramatic look. Lays nicely on the neck. Very comfortable piece to wear. Necklace stays in place. Wonderful Victorian garnet necklace!!
