Published by Whitman Publishing Co. (#670) in 1936 created by the staff of the Walt Disney Studios. Note that the title page reads "Donald Duck Color Book" (photo #3). Book measures 8 1/2" by 11 1/4" and is 98 pages in length including covers. Front cover (photo #1) has creases in both open corners and some stress lines at the spine along with some light edge wear. Back cover (photo #2) is very bright and colorful with some light edge wear and some stress lines at the spine. Pages are free of tears and creases and very supple and the spine is tight and solid. 6 pages have been colored in full very nicely; 2 pages are shown (photos #4 & #5). The other 4 colored pages are done in an equivalent manner; t are no "rough" of out of the lines colorings. Some of the other pages have only 1 item colored (always in pink) such as Donald's tongue, a baloon, a flag, an initial, etc. This is always neatly done and appropriate to the item colored. Photo #6 shows pages with Donald's tongue and a baloon colored in the previously described style. The book was obviously drawn by more than 1 artist since Donald's appearance and the thickness of the lines vary. A very difficult to find early Donald Duck item. This copy has survived the 70 years very well.
