Original Drawing by French artist Fernand Leger Fernand Leger (1881 - 1955) was a major figure in the development of cubism and a prime expositor of modern urban and technological culture. He went through several phases in painting, from cubism to urban and machine images. After 1930, Leger's style favored precisely delineated and monumental forms modeled in planes and set in shallow space, and he concentrated on depicting scenes of proletarian life, such as his Great Parade. His works hang in many well known museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art in NY and the Guggenheim Museum in NYC. You now have the opportunity to own one of his original drawings from 1952. T is a certificate of authenticity that accompanies this art. The scene is of two men in business suits, one of whom is holding a young girl in a bathing suit. T are three women depicted in this drawing, all of whom look athletic and are near bicycles. The drawing is set in an outdoor scene. This is a mixed media piece of art. It measures 11.75" x 8.75."
