This is a very nice and painted porcelain pair of figures. T is a girl in a pink porcelain lace skirt with one applied porcelain rose on it. She is holding a golden rose in her hand. The bay is playing the flute for the girl. They both have brown hair and blue eyes and gold trim. They are in very good condition for age. All fingertips are intact. The girl has some minor chipping on the rear of her skirt. Its hard to tell if the end trim is chipped on her skirt and his cuffs, please enlarge all photos for detail. They both have the Muller & Co, Volkstedt, Thuringia, Germany blue crown over MZ mark, and Dresden, she is named Julia and he is named Romeo. They also both have a number 9 on the bottom.He is just under 3" high and she is about 2.75" high. He is 3" wide and she is 3.25" wide. They make a beautiful set to display!
