This piece is whimsical and endearing while maintaining the formality of the Dresden-Meissen tradition. The figurine depicts four little boys in a tropical setting. The base of the piece is represented as twisted vines. The boys are standing at the bse of a large flower which culminates in a large pink and yellow blossom. The boys' figures depict movement as they are busy retrieving a gilded fishing net from an unseen body of water. The bottom of the piece is marked under the glaze with two blue crossed swords.
