Exquisite & Rare Antoinette Lounging Figural Piece~ Very rich looking of a large scale at 8 1/2 inches tall 11 inches wide & 5 inches deep in fantastic condition with only 1 tiny chip to her dress hem inner fold with all delicate separated hand painted true to life formed fingers intact. The porcelain Lounge she rests on is wonderful and ornately formed of curves and thick solid porcelain with a quality sheen with high relief design both pleasing to the eye and the touch with rich Antoinette colours of creamy linen and pale peach, very elegant with 24 karat gold accenting. The porcelain lace folds and pleates are in aboundance and flow from the lounge near the flooring with her delicate feet peeking out from the folds in relaxation as she holds a spread fan in hand as if ready to flirt at any given time, a truely classic pose and quite Antoinette. The hand painted colouring on this figure is quite exquisite and done in fine detail and takes notice when taking in the artistry of the figure. The case is a large quality custom made unit with the base being a deep cherry wood and the cover is a thick quality hand cut glass measuring 11 1/4 inches tall with the glass in place and 10 1/2 inches wide with the inside base being mirrored for viewing the displayed piece in a rich manner which would be expected with a finer piece such as this in this fine condition it carries a stature of fine quality spoken without saying a word.
