This is a set of four (4) dessert plates hand painted by the Carl Thieme studio. The mark spans 1901 to present, however, these were purchased in the early 1970's I believe at an estate sale. Each plate measures approx. 7 1/4" D with reticulated rims and each has a different floral design. All are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This is part of a very large collection which I recently inherited from my mother who collected Dresden and other vintage porcelain for over 30 years. I hope to be listing a few pieces at a time. I am not personally a collector, but will try to provide descriptions and photographs which accurately depict the item and an accurate assessment of condition. In addition to the notes/ receipts she left, the two principal sources I rely on for dates and markings are: "Dresden Porcelain Studios" by Jim & Susan Harran and "Marks of German,Bohemian and Austrian Porcelain, 1710 to Present" by Robert E. Rontgen. If you feel you need additional description, photos or have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I will try and reply promptly. Re: shipping. Unless another method is requested, I ship Priority Mail, insured with delivery conformation. For heavier items, I will also get a quote from . Ebay has apparently implemented a new policy that requires that a shipping fee be posted in
