Offered at auction, at NO RESERVE, from a Prominent Florida Estate is this Very Nicely Detailed Hand Painted Porcelain SITZENDORF DRESDEN GERMAN FIGURINE. Featured is an Exquisitely Dressed French-Inspired Courtship Couple. It appears to be a Harvest Theme. Many Clusters of Beautifully Applied Porcelain Grapes, Apples and Flowers surround the couple. The Figurine bears the Underglazed BLUE SITZENDORF MARK on the Bottom. Although not certain, I believe this one was Made in Germany in the Late 1890's Early 1900's. It MEASURES 7 1/4" in Height. It is 5" in Width and 3 5/8" in Depth. CONDITION: This Figurine appears to be in Great Near Mint Condition! Upon Very Close Examination, although smooth to the touch and Not Discolored, the Lady may have been carrying a Fan. If so, the Top of it is gone. Additionally, part of a Brim on the Lady's Hat may have been Damaged at some point. If so, it has been very nicely repaired t This was only discovered after several CLOSE examinations! I detect No Other Possible Chips, No Cracks, No Flakes, No Nicks, No Painting Wear, No Surface Scratches, No Other Possible Repairs !!
