The German Army Dress Bayonet listed is the best one I ever saw in overall condition. The leather frog is nearly flawless, the scabbard has but a few scratches(in patina, not recent), and the blade is a thing of beauty like a nice mirror. Near the hilt on one side is the ALCOSO marking, a highly desirable thing, anf the other side appears to be engraved in gothic script "DR", something I did not see on one of these bayonets previously. A note to people who care-t are no political or other "offensive" symbols on German Army Dress bayonets EVER, unless someone other than a maker put them t IF ALCOSO or "DR" are offensive, I am oh so sorry, but they do not go against the stated EBAY policy, nor do they clash with an addendum I was able to get from EBay previously. SO-for those who need to know, this bayonet is listed in accordance with EBAY rules-ENJOY! Note-No bid of less than $200 will win this weapon, and that is certain.
