PLEASE NOTE: The background color of this gorgeous paperweight is a dark burgundy - not pink or reddish like the pictures - it is a result of lighting only. This is a five day only auction. This is a Drew Ebelhare millefiori paperweight consisting of a central signature cane "E" surrounded by green circle canes which are in turn surrounded by intricate cobalt blue star canes which are then surrounded with a circle of beautiful yellow flowers with cobalt blue star shaped centers - VERY intricately done! The outside ring consists of five BEAUTIFUL Clichy type white roses with yellow centers. Between each rose are two canes that are turquoise blue with yellow inner stamen and a center of yellow cross type canes. The Clichy type roses are absolutely beautiful - my pictures do not do this gorgeous paperweight justice!The dark burgundy is a hollow base inside the clear glass and is signed on the bottom "Ebelhare 5-96". I purchased this paperweight from Mr. Ebelhare when I met him many years ago for my personal collection. It has been in a locked display cabinet since until now. It is in PERFECT condition! The paperweight measures just under two inches (1 and 15/16 inches) in diameter and is just under two inches (1 and 15/16 inches) tall. Please email questions/concerns.
