These are six beautiful old plates, approximately 9 7/8" diameter . Translucent porcelain. Beautifully hand decorated with abundant gold trim and a meandering gold fern-like garland. Colorful enamel flowers throughout the garland and in the center of the plate along with small gold leaf designs.Made at the Derby Porcelain Works between 1782 and 1825 and accordingly marked with the Duesbury mark. Some of them also bear the design number 45 and the number 66 or 67. There are some variations in these hand painted marks. In very good condition. However, one of them has an old hairline crack in the center of the plate (see picture). Another one has a small chip on the foot rim. All of the plates show some wear to the gold and the enamel coloring. There is some very fine crazing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We package securely and have an excellent track record as you can see from our feedbacks.
