is a very nice old Duffner & Kimberly leaded slag glass lamp. The lamp is 24" tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial. The shade is 18 1/2" in diameter x 7" deep and the top hole is approx. 3 1/8" in diameter. The shade looks as though is was repaired at some point. Some of the glass is a slightly different color and the some of the leaded marks look substandard and the lower edge of the shade is not level. I don't know if the warped lower edge just happens over time or what but its t The base is also a Duffner & Kimberly and is very ornate. It is either painted brown or patinaed brown and has a few stress cracks but nothing major. The sockets on this lamp are Hubbell sockets and operate very smoothly as they should and have the original brass pull chains. This lamp is not wired and will need to be rewired. This lamp is in the Quality Electric Lamps book on page 21 if you need positive identification.(see picture) This lamp is right at 100 years old and still has alot of life left in it so to the winning bidder please do not think you are recieving a new flawless lamp. Please see pictures for more detail. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. As with all lamps I sell this lamp is being sold as is w is with no implied warranty and no returns or refunds for any reason.
