Up for auction is a Dug Civil War Relic Confederate Script I Coat Button with intact and straight shank. This is a great looking button that has no pushes or damage with only very light ground action and a great chocolate brown patina. Please see pictures for additional details. I have been collecting Infantry buttons for over 20 years and that one has been in my personal collection for over a decade. The backmark is "Isaacs and Campbell" although it is difficult to read the complete backmark. The verbal provenance of this button is from Northern Virginia and was recovered from private property with the landowner's permission.This will be a great addition to any Civil War relic or button collection.Flat Rate Shipping is $3.25.
