This is a very fine example of a Local produced Louisiana Pelican button (Alberts # LA8G / Tice # LA 249G1 - Backmark is blank with a depressed channel. The button is in excellent dug condition with the only flaw being the shank is missing. The button was produced with metal of a high copper content as can be seen in the pictures. The button shows very well and would be a great addition to any collection (button is much finer in person, the pictures do not do this button justice). The button was dug in Port Hudson on private property with owner's permission. Payment must be received within 7 days of the winning bid, otherwise the sale will be considered mutually cancelled and the item may be relisted. Payment may be made by paypal, money order or cashier's check. Personal checks are not accepted, sorry for any inconvenience. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. Shipping will be $4.80 for USPS Priority Shipping. Insurance is extra and recommended. Insurance amount will be calculated at end of auction based on final item value. Please let me know if you want insurance and I will send the total. I also combine shipping but cost for insurance will be by the buyer. I offer a 3 day money back guarantee.
