WELCOME CARNIVAL GLASS COLLECTORS! Item Description: This is a beautiful, old and SCARCE Dugan DAHLIA Creamer with Gold Trim in gorgeous WHITE base glass. Frosty highlights...6 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/8 inches tall with SUPERIOR MULTI-COLOR IRIDESCENCE featuring outstanding BLUES!!! This piece is loaded with them...STUNNING! This is the best white, gold trimmed Dahlia Creamer I have ever seen. The iridescent color, for a white piece, is off the charts....a rainbow of colors on display with every turn of the piece in natural light...just as striking on the inside as it is on the outside. This is the very best example of this pattern and this scarce color. It is a vintage piece...not marked in any way. Show stopping on display and a handsome investment quality piece of glass. I have included several photos of the piece so you can see for yourself. It looks even better in your hands as it is always very difficult to capture a piece like this on film and do it justice...especially a frosty white piece. You can reference this piece in David Doty's 1998 Field Guide to Carnival Glass or The Encyclopedia to Carnival Glass and Edwards and Carwile. I guarantee this is authentic, early 1900's vintage Carnival Glass! All pictures were taken outside in natural light...no flash. I never enhance photos, what you see is what you get. I do not use reserves, so bid with confindence and have fun...it will sell to the high bidder. Item Condition: ( Pictures are part of the description...and I include lots of them...so please have a look!) This creamer is in fantastic condition ! No cracks, chips, fleabites or repairs! No major detractions whatsoever. T are a few scattered manufacturing stretch marks, you must really search for them. Nothing u ncommon. The feet on this one are exceptional...on a slight bit of shelf wear noted...very slight. The feet on these are prone to damage and this one looks as good as it did the day it was made many decades ago. The rim is superb, the spout excellent and the handle is evenly applied...very well done all the way around. T are some very tiny enclosed manufacturing bubbles...very tiny and nothing uncommon. The interior of the creamer shows no wear...I believe it to be a display piece only for all these years. T is some wear to the gold trim as is to be expected. That is all I can find on this gorgeous piece. I've looked it over hard. I'm being very picky. I included lots of pictures, up close, so have a look. It is a HIGH QUALITY investment quality piece of glass...THE VERY BEST OF THE BEST. A great example of what Carnival Glass is all about. I collect Carnival Glass myself and I'm picky with my descriptions, like I like others to be when I'm buying so you know what you are getting. And as all of us in Carnival know color is key and this piece displays beautiful iridescent colors on white base glass...STUNNING...very pleasing to look at.
