Duncan Phyfe Dining Room Set - 1940's? This set is in wonderful condition. The chairs are solid. T are eight of them. T are two captain chairs and 2 matching sides and then t are four side chairs. The table is in excellent condition, with the exception of a couple of hairline scratches, which paictures are available upon request. The upholstery on all chairs is in excellent condition, but then again if you purchase these, changing the upholstery is an easy do. The plus to this set is the glass top expecially cut to fit this table which is 42 x 66 with a 12 inch leaf. The white you see on the edging of any part of the set is lighting and dust. The table actually looks better than the pics are showing. One chair has a splintering of the wood along the top rim of the back, the pic also shows that. T is no way to accurately date this set, but the best guess is it was produced sometime between the 20's and the 40's. It is vintage and it is in great shape. It is solid, along with the chairs. The few flaws come with the age and character. Please know that if this set is purchased within a 250 mile range of its location, we can arrange shipping for an additional cost. Outside of that, we could meet that same distance. Our shipping would be remarkably more reasonable than a shipping company. Please look carefully and bid with confidence.
