This is an awesome Federal/Duncan Phyfe Style Mahogany Extending Dining Room Table, dating to the mid-1900's. The table has 2 leaves, when fully extended the table measures: 104"wide x 40" deep x 31"High. With one leaf it measures: 82" wide x 40"deep x 31"high and closed measures: 60"wide x 40"deep x 31"high. The top surface of the table has lovely ribbon mahogany graining and the edges are crossbanded and inlaid and it has a skirt around the top surface. The table stands on 2 carved column supports, each column has 3 arched legs fitted with lion claw feet, plus it has sturdy wooden rails under the top surface to support the table leaves.
