DUNHILL 112 Root Briar Estate Pipe Made In England 6 (2 in Circle) R

Ca. 1955 - 1960

I am selling my late brother-in-law's pipe collection. He purchased most of his pipes in the 60's & 70's, but I cannot say the EXACT date this pipe was made as I am not a pipe smoker and do not know much about pipes.

This pipe is marked as follows:

DUNHILL 112 Root Briar - Made In England - 6 - The number 2 in a circle followed by an R.

The pipe is in excellent to superb condition. Other than a very faint, (negligibly invisible) tooth mark at the tip of the stem, it is an absolute beauty.

This pipe has been professionally buffed, polished, reamed and sanitized by Walker Briar Works of Manchester, MI.

This pipe has a very pretty "Flame Grain" on the bowl, and I am sure it will be a great smoking pipe to anyone who appreciates these DUNHILL pipes.

This is a light weight pipe 1.1 oz. ideal for carrying. It is about 5 3/4 inches long and the bowl is about 3/4" in diameter and 1 1/2 " deep.
