I am selling my delightful 1975 Dunhill Root Briar estate, previously smoked, English pipe. This spectacular pipe is from one of the most highly respected English pipe making firms, Dunhill. The pipe is offered with an authentic Dunhill brown leather pipe bag. ***

MOUTHPIECE - The vulcanite mouthpiece has a straight saddle bit cut bit.

NOMENCLATURE - [LEFT SIDE OF BOWL] "48" {Old shape number}"DUNHILL ROOT BRIAR" in two lines. [RIGHT SIDE OF BOWL] "MADE IN ENGLAND15" in two lines {'15' after the 'D' indicated production date of 1975}and "4" circled {to indicate GROUP 4 SIZE} and "R" to indicate ROOT BRIAR grade.

This delightful Dunhill pipe has a vulcanite mouthpiece that has a straight saddle bit cut bit. The smooth grain is a fabulous. The rim of the tobacco chamber has slight scorching. The cross grain on this pipe is lovely. Please refer to the images. The pipe is featherweight and easily held in the mouth if so desired.

The hand feel on this pipe is excellent. The shape is a classic Dunhill straight bulldog and is smartly executed.

All of my pipes have been lovingly cared for and cleaned professionally.

My estate Dunhill Root Briar pipe has been professionally cleaned, buffed and waxed. The mouthpiece has been sanitized, cleaned and waxed. The pipe is ready to smoke.
