Here is another pipe from my father's collection. It is a very Rare Dunhill, White Dot, Patented No. 1937, Root Briar Pipe with a large Bowl Size of 7! It's fabulous pipe.It took me a while to research this pipe, but I finally have the information. It was made 83 years ago and has the following Patent No. 116989/17 with 12 in superscript. It is a gorgeous Root Briar Pipe and has a very large bowl...a Size 7. The straight grain and birds eye looks like it was created yesterday! The Patent No. was difficult to photograph but I could try to get additional photos if needed. It's a real collectors piece and a wonderful addition to any Dunhill Pipe collection.Markings: Dunhill (over London) London Patent No. 116989/17/12 (12 indicates the date of 1932) Handmade in England R (Root Briar) 7 (Bowl Size)Measurements: Length: just over 5" Stem Length: 2" Bowl Height: 1-3/4" Bowl Diameter: 1-1/2" Bowl Chamber: just under 1"My father has had this rare Dunhill pipe in his collection for 50+ years and has never smoked it.
