Duplex 5"x14" [VINTAGE] Snare drum. (Made In St Louis) Pre 1920's era. This has the Aluminum Shell with I believe are mahogany wood hoops. It has a Serial # don't know if that means the year it was made or how many of these kind! It has the tuneing key. As you can tell has the top head was Intact.! the day after, one of the children decided to play it therefore the head broke! the bottom head was torn when I found it. the one lug was broken off also. all other lugs are good & tuneable top & bottom. the snares are made out of hemp. as told by a drum collector. the one side of the snares holder made from leather I think was torn also but still Intact. I'm sure it was a good marching snare in the days, whether in the war or on stage. I am selling it as is, with a low price! with (NO RESERVE) U.S.A. & Canada bidding.
