Durer Engraving, 'Virgin With Animals', C.1600, Valued at £500-£700 Description Durer Engraving, Virgin With Animals, C.1600, After Aegidius Sadeler II, Valued at £500-700 This is a beautiful late Renaissance engraving of the Flemish painter Aegidius Sadeler ll’s version of Albrecht Durer’s 1503 painting ‘Virgin with a Multitude of Animals’. This page is from a manuscript, and has been slightly trimmed for framing. It is an authorized copy of the orginal work, as it carries the legend “Cum Privil" to the bottom left hand corner, and it dates from around 1585 to 1629.
