Up for auction is a beautiful Art Deco Style DURGIN 146 piece, 12 place settings of Sterling Silver Flatware Set. Each of the 12 place setting has 12 individual pieces of flatware! The pattern is VICTORIAN or sometimes referred to as SHERATON. This set is vintage 1918 and each piece is hallmarked. All the knife handles are marked Durgin Sterling Silver, the blades of the dinner knives are marked Stainless and the blades of the table knives are marked Laterna. Each piece is monogrammed with the letter "O" . The back side of each piece is also very beautiful (see photo). The reserve price is only a fraction of the cost for replacement of this unique and rare set. This is a very heavy, substantial set and the individual piece length and weight per piece are shown below.
